Xiaomi Note 3 could arrive at the end of August. If this is true, the Mi Note 3 will be releasing at an earlier time in the year than the Mi Note 2 had.
After the success of the Mi Note 2, people have been looking forward to the release of the Mi Note 3. Reports in the Chinese media state that Xiaomi may release the Mi Note 3 at the end of August. If this is true, the Mi Note 3 will be releasing at an earlier time in the year than the Mi Note 2 had. The Mi Note 2 had launched in October last year while it had been made available to the public in November.
These rumours have come to light after Xiaomi revealed the MIUI 9 update list for 19 of its Mi and 17 of its Redmi devices. The first round of updates will take place on August 11 on the Redmi Note 4X, Xiaomi Mi 6 and Mi 5X. The second round of updates will include 12 smart phones and will begin on the 25th of August. These 12 devices will include Mi Note 2, Mi Note, Xiaomi Mi Mix, Mi 5, Mi 5s, Mi 5s Plus, Mi 5c, Mi 4s, Mi 4X, Mi Max 2 and Mi Max.
The report, which released in Playfulroid, stated that if the smart phone is not launched this month then it should launch in September. While no official statement has been made by the company about the features of the Mi Note 3, there have been a number of rumours and renders that have been circulated about the device.
According to these rumours the Xiaomi Mi Note will have a dual curved AMOLED display of 5.7-inches (QHD). The resolution of this display will be 2560 x 1440 pixels. There are also rumours that the smart phone will have a curved screen because of a tie up that Xiaomi has carried out with Samsung. This will end the tie up between Xiaomi and LG which has been used for previous models. The operating system on the phone will be Android Nougat 7.1.1 while it will also have the MIUI 9 on the top of the device.
There are expected to be two variants of the smart phone in terms of storage. The first version will have a RAM of 6GB with storage of 128GB while the second version will have a RAM of 8GB with storage of 256GB. If the second version is a reality, it will be a premium device. The first version is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC while the second version is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 835 processor.
The device is expected to have a dual camera setup which will be towards the back of the phone. However, nothing has been said about the selfie camera so far. The battery backing the device will be the 4070mAh battery while it could also support the fast charging technology of Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0. The smaller version of the smart phone will approximately cost USD 599 which will convert into INR 38,000. The bigger and more expensive version of the smartphone will cost around USD 699 which will convert into INR 45,000.
The Mi Note 2 did not have a release in India so it is yet to be seen if the Mi Note 3 will get an Indian release. After looking at all the features we do sure hope that it will!
