Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is going to launch in August
Putting numerous speculations and guesses to rest, Gao Dongzhen ,Samsung’s CEO has confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is going to launch next month. The buzz is that the premium phablet is going to launch in New York on the 23rd of August.
The CEO, in a report on PhonesDaily, has also revealed that the phablet is going to be released in two phases. The first phase will see a launch in the US, UK and Korea and will commence in the beginning of September. The second phase is going to begin during October and will launch the phablet in other world markets, which include India.

There are only few details that have been leaked about the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 so far. Some of these features include Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, Snapdragon 835 SoC (for the US), Exynos 8895 SoC (globally), and a Super AMOLED Infinity Display of 6.3 inches. The phablet is said to have a set-up of dual camera with monochromes lenses and a 12 megapixel RGB. There are rumoured to be two versions in terms of storage: one of 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, and another one of 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.
The colors choices are said to be black, gold and blue while the battery is said to be one of 3,300 mAh. The aspect ratio is going to be similar to that of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+, with a ratio of 18:5:9. The phablet is also said to support DeX and have an S Pen that will be enhanced.

The leaks about the design have been numerous, with the most popular one being that it will look just like the Galaxy 8. However, recent leaks from Weibo and Slashleaks suggest that the phablet might have a greater screen-to-body-ratio than the Galaxy 8. There are rumors which say that the Galaxy Note 8 might not have rounded corners, unlike the Infinity Display design that the Galaxy 8 and S8+ have.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 has Bixby voice assistant feature
When it comes to the Samsung Galaxy 8, there are strong rumors that suggest that the Bixby voice assistant will finally release in the United Kingdom. The company had released the Galaxy 8 in the UK without the popular voice assistant. Screenshots from a South Korean company indicate that the much awaited feature will finally launch on the 18th of the month.
A reddit user called “Bixbyguy” has posted what seem like internal emails from Samsung on his account that talks about marketing the phone by using Bixby as a feature. This entire post has now been taken down and only reveals the release date of the Bixby in the UK.
Bixby is a voice assistant that is supposed to be context aware about what is going on, on the screen of the smartphone. There is also hope out there that the Bixby voice assistant will be part of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.
