Flipkart exclusive flash sale of Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro has been announced as February 28, starting noon.


Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro went on sale for the first time in India today. The flash sale began at 12pm, exclusively on Flipkart, and both models were sold out in less than two hours.

Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro are still available on Mi, although the quantity may be limited. In the brick and mortar world, the phones were said to be available at Mi Home stores across India, while their availability at Xiaomi’s partner stores has not been confirmed yet.

The next date for the next Flipkart exclusive flash sale of Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro has been announced as February 28, starting noon.

 

Redmi Note 5: Specifications and Price

The successor to Xiaomi’s popular Redmi Note 4, the Redmi Note 5 is available in two variants. The one with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage is priced at ₹9,999, while the other with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage is priced at ₹11,999. Both offer memory to be expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card.

The Redmi Note 5 comes with a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display, with resolution of 2160×1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. It has a 2.5D front glass panel for protection. The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, which is octa core and has a clock speed of 2GHz. It runs Android Nougat 7.1.2.

The latest smartphone sports a 12MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. It comes with a 4000mAh battery. For connectivity, the dual SIM phone offers 4G VoLTE, UMTS, GSM, 4G LTE, WCDMA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth V4.2 and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The phone measures 75.45 mm x 158.58 mm x 8.05 mm and weighs 180gms.

 

Redmi Note 5 Pro: Specifications and Price

The Redmi Note 5 Pro is priced at ₹13,999 and targets those who want powerful back and front cameras. It comes with a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display, with resolution of 2160×1080 pixels and aspect ratio of 18:9. It has 2.5D glass for protection.

The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor, which is octa core and has a clock speed of 1.8GHz. It comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal memory, expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card. It runs Android Nougat 7.1.2.

Redmi Note 5 Pro will be a delight for those who photography or clicking selfies. The phone sports a dual camera setup at the rear, with 12MP and 5MP sensors. The front camera is 20MP.

It comes with a 4000mAh battery. For connectivity, the dual SIM phone offers 4G VoLTE, UMTS, GSM, 4G LTE, WCDMA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth V5.0 and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The phone measures 75.35 mm x 158.58 mm x 8.05 mm and weighs 181gms.

Both the Redmi Note 5 models offer some special features, including Fingerprint Scanner, Ambient Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, E Compass, Accelerometer, Hall Sensor and Gyroscope. Both are available in Black and Gold color options.
