OxygenOS 4.5.13 supports customization of notification ringtone. The launching speed of the apps has been improved.
OnePlus has rolled out the next version of its operating system OxygenOS, for the OnePlus 5. OxygenOS version 4.5.13 comes only a week after the previous version 4.5.12 was released.
The latest update includes some bug fixes as well as improvements in the performance of a few apps.
OxygenOS 4.5.13 supports customization of notification ringtone. The launching speed of the apps has been improved. Adaptive brightness has been optimized further and display issues of some UI elements have been fixed.
The latest update has also fixed the issue of YouTube videos lagging audio as well as the issue of the phone not being able to detect 4G+ network in certain regions. Moreover, the Android security patch has been updated to September.
Updating Your Phone
The latest update is 49MB in size and is being rolled via OTA (over-the-air). You should receive a prompt to update your OS. In case you don’t, you can find the update in the System Update option of the Settings section on your OnePlus 5 device.
OnePlus has indicated that it is best to take a backup of your phone before proceeding with the update, although updating the operating system usually does not erase your data. Moreover, ensuring that your phone is at least 60% charged is a good idea, to prevent the device from switching off in between the updating process.
