Phone could come in two variants – one with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage and the other with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
HMD Global is gearing up to launch several Nokia branded smartphones at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC), scheduled to be held between February 26 and March 1.
Meanwhile, there have been several leaks suggesting that the company may unveil its latest flagship, Nokia 9, along with Nokia 8 Pro and Nokia 7 Plus at the event in Barcelona.
Earlier leaks had speculated a January launch for Nokia 9. These leaks suggesting the phone could come in two variants – one with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage and the other with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
Nokia 9 is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC and have a 5.5-inch display. It is expected to run Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.
More recent images show a dual curved edge, bezel-less display with double-sided 3D glass design for this latest flagship device. Nokia 9 may have a vertically-aligned dual rear camera setup, with LED flash to the right of the lenses. The back cameras could have 12MP and 13MP sensors. The rear of the phone also has a fingerprint sensor.
There are speculations around whether Nokia 9 would sport a dual camera setup on the front as well. Nokia 9 is expected to come with a 3250mAh battery, with fast charging support.
According to a report by NokiaPowerUser (NPU), HMD Global could launch a premium variant of its Nokia 8 flagship smartphone, called Nokia 8 Pro. The company had previously trademarked a new model with the name Nokia 8 Sirocco, which is now believed to be launched as the Nokia 8 Pro.
The NPU report suggests that Nokia 8 Pro would be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC and that it could feature a Penta-lens camera module with rotating Zoom camera made by Zeiss.
Similar to Nokia 9, the Nokia 8 Pro could come with a double-sided glass design. It could also have a dual camera setup, with 13MP and 12MP sensors, and fingerprint scanner at the back.
Nokia 8 Pro may offer 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage and come with a 3250mAh battery.
Earlier leaks had suggested the Nokia 7 Plus would sport an 18:9 aspect ratio display. More recently, tipster Evan Blass posted images showing extremely thin bezels on the top and bottom of the device. This smartphone could come with a 2.5D curved glass protection on top. It is rumored to be an Android One device, running the stock version of Android 8.0 Oreo.
Nokia 7 Plus may also sport a vertically-aligned dual camera setup at the back, with Carl Zeiss optics. The rear is expected to have a fingerprint scanner.
There have been speculations around the Nokia 7 Plus sporting a 6-inch display, with resolution of 2160×1080 pixels. The phone is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor and offer 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The back cameras could be 12MP and 13MP, while the front camera may be 16MP.
HMD Global may also launch Nokia 4 and Nokia 1 at the upcoming MWC.
