These new leaks are in the form of images of the copper gold colour version of the Nokia 8.
Nokia 8, which is expected to have its launch on the 16th of August in London, has had a new series of leaks about the latest model. These new leaks are in the form of images of the copper gold colour version of the Nokia 8. These images have confirmed and unveiled new things about the model, hence adding to the numerous rumours that already exist about it in the market.
According to the images, the Nokia 8 will have capacitive buttons that will facilitate navigation, a home button that will house a fingerprint scanner beneath it and a sufficient bezel on it. The power and volume keys are on the right side of the smartphone while it is most likely that the audio jack will be on the top of the phone.
The images also reveal four holes on the smartphone, three of which are believed to be for the dual sensors and the flash. There are new rumours about what the fourth hole is going to be for, with many saying that it might feature a laser autofocus. However, there are no concrete details about this hole and everything that is being said about it is speculation.
There is an absence of the Zeiss logo despite the fact that the company has collaborated with HMD Global (the company which is bringing the new models of Nokia to you), to bring the Carl Zeiss lens to the phone. The images have also confirmed the presence of the dual camera. This camera is most likely going to be featuring the Carl Zeiss lens which will make it the first Android smartphone to have this lens.
Carl Zeiss and HMD Global announced their partnership earlier in the month which has led to a number of rumours about future Nokia models having the lens. It is still not confirmed as to if the Nokia 8 or the Nokia 9 will be carrying this lens. There is also a possibility that a completely new model might have this lens.
The images have also revealed what the price of the smartphone is going to be like. According to numerous websites, the range of the smartphone is going to be between USD 549 or USD 599 which converts into INR 35,218 and INR 38,377.
As per the previous leaks about the smartphone, the Nokia 8 is going to be equipped with a single SIM slot, dual -SIM card slot, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, dual cameras, a 2K display of 5.7 inches, 13 megapixels on both the cameras, a dual LED flash, Android 7.1.1 Nougat out-of-the-box and run on the Snapdragon 835 processor of Qualcomm.
