Motorola has announced that the latest variant of its Moto X4 will be launched in India on February 1. The upcoming variant will be available on Flipkart.

Moto X4 was launched in the country in November last year. News of the new variant of the mid-range smartphone was announced via Motorola India’s Twitter handle. The company tweeted saying the latest Moto X4 “just got that much faster, smarter and sharper” and would come with “the newest and sweetest version of Android yet!”

Specifications Expected

Motorola India has not officially provided any details of the upgraded Moto X4 variant. The currently available variant comes in two versions – one with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal memory, priced at ₹20,999, and the other with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal memory, priced at ₹22,999. Both these run Android 7.1.1 Nougat. This variant was also a Flipkart exclusive, with the marketplace offering significant discounts and attractive exchange offers on its purchase.

The new Moto X4 variant is expected to have a better RAM of 6GB, with 64GB internal memory. It is expected to run Android 8.0 Oreo. The price would be higher than the variants currently available and is expected to be around ₹25,000.
