LG G7 and G7+ smartphones are scheduled for launch in June 2018.
A promotional poster spotted at MWC 2018 last month, featured the upcoming LG G7 and G7+. The phones could be seen in a new Lime Green color in the LG ThinQ model version. Though the poster was claimed to be fake, it has sparked a great deal of excitement.
The smartphones are scheduled for launch in June 2018.
The banner suggests a possible partnership with audio brand Bang&OLufsen. According to previous leaks, both the phones will sport 6.1-inch FullVision MLCD+ displays with resolution of 1440×3120 pixels and 19:5:9 aspect ratio. The smartphones will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM for LG G7 and 6GB RAM on G7+. The in-built storage capacity of LG G7 is likely to be 64GB and G7+ will have 128GB storage capacity.
Both the devices might sport 16MP dual-rear cameras with f/1.6 aperture. A battery of 3000mAh will power the smartphones under the hood. Other features include IP68 water and drug resistance rating, HDR10 support and iris scanner.
Rumor of the LG G7 Neo has also been doing the rounds for some time. The smartphone, which has been codenamed ‘Judy’, will also sport some features like the iPhone X. LG launched its V30 and V30+ models earlier this year in MWC 2018. The LG V30S is coming with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage and LGV30S+ will have 6GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. Both the handsets will be available in attractive colors options of Moroccan Blue and Platinum Grey.
The LG G7 is said to be priced at KRW 899,800 (approx. Rs.54,700) and the G7+ will be available at KRW 1 million (approx. Rs.60,700). These devices would mark a huge jump from the predecessor G6 series.
