Honor 7X Sale to Begin on December 7 as an Amazon Exclusive

Honor 7X has a 5.93-inch full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080x2160 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The Android 7.0 Nougat-based device runs on the company's EMUI 5.1.


The much-awaited Honor 7X will be available in India later this week, according to Huawei’s sub-brand Honor. The sale of the smartphone will commence at 12 p.m. on December 7, exclusively on Amazon India. Huawei will release the Honor 7X for India on December 5.

The registration process for the 7X has already begun at Amazon India. The ecommerce giant has come up with several preregistration prizes. The list includes over 1,000 prizes such as paid trips, smartphones, headphones and power banks. Winners will be announced on January 8 next year, whereas the prizes will be given by February 5.

There is no news regarding the price of the Honor 7X in India. In China, the 32GB variant comes at a price of CNY 1,299 (approximately Rs.12,700), the 64GB variant costs CNY 1,699 (roughly Rs.16,600) whereas the 28GB is priced at CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs.19,600). All three variants are available in three colours, namely Gold, Aurora Blue and Black.

 

Specifications

The 7X has a 5.93-inch full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080×2160 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The Android 7.0 Nougat-based device runs on the company’s EMUI 5.1. It is powered by an Octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 659 processor. The handset has a dual-camera setup with 16-megapixel as well as 2-megapixel sensors on the rear and an 8-megapixel front camera. Moreover, the smartphone comes with a 3340mAh battery and offers dual-SIM support along with access to a 4G network. The 7X comes with a single speaker, a headphone jack and a micro-USB port for charging.

Three variants of the Honor 7X were unveiled in China in November 2017. The internal storage in the 32GB, 64GB and 128GB variants is expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card. Going by the specifications of the 7X, it would be competing with the Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro as well as the Xiaomi Mi A1.
