Honor V10 comes with a 5.99-inch full-HD+ display with a resolution of 1080×2160 pixels. The handset’s edge-to-edge display is similar to the Honor 9i and 7X as well as Huawei’s Mate 10 Pro.


Honor is all set to launch the V10 in India in January 2018. The V10 is the first smartphone from Honor to come with an Artificial Intelligence-enabled chipset. The Huawei sub-brand’s bezel-less V10 is aiming to compete with OnePlus 5T. The V10 will be launched in China on November 28, 2017 whereas the global launch will be held at an event in London on December 5, 2017. This smartphone will be launched worldwide as the Honor 9 Pro. The company has launched the V9 globally as the Honor 8 Pro.

According to IANS, the Honor V10 comes with a 5.99-inch full-HD+ display with a resolution of 1080×2160 pixels. The handset’s edge-to-edge display is similar to the Honor 9i and 7X as well as Huawei’s Mate 10 Pro. Moreover, the smartphone packs a 3750mAh battery and offers 6GB RAM and an internal storage of 128GB. The device sports a new EMUI 8.0 based on Android 8.0 Oreo. The V10 will be powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 970 SoC processor. This SoC has a neural processing unit or NPU, which is meant for AI-enabled tasks.

Honor has disclosed that the handset will come with a dual-camera setup on the rear. The 16-megapixel and 20-megapixel rear sensors offer wide aperture lens. The aperture sizes range between f/0.95 to f/16. In addition to this, the handset sports a 13-megapixel front camera. The company is yet to announce the price of the Honor V10 in India. The V10 will be available online through Flipkart or Amazon.

The V10 is a cost-effective version of Huawei’s Mate 10 smartphones which were launched in the month of October. In China, the Honor 10’s 4GB RAM and 64GB in-built storage variant is priced at CNY 2,699 (approximately Rs.26,300). The 6GB and 64GB storage variant costs CNY 2,999 (approximately Rs.29,300) while the 6GB and 128GB variant costs CNY 3499 (approximately Rs.34,200).

 

Honor 7X With Minimum Bezels

The Honor 7X, the successor of the Honor 6X, will also be launched in London on December 5, 2017. The 7X was launched in China in October 2017. This smartphone has a metal unibody with minimum bezels. It comes with a 5.93-inch full-HD+ curved display with a resolution of 1080×2160 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9.

The Nano dual-SIM 7X runs EMUI 5.1 based on Android 7.0 Nougat. The device is powered by an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 659 SoC along with 4GB RAM. It comes with a 3340mAh battery. Also, the smartphone comes with a fingerprint scanner on the rear.

Imaging options include a 16-megapixel as well as a 2-megapixel camera on the rear. This camera setup enables you to click portrait shots with blurry backgrounds. The handset sports a front-facing 8-megapixel camera. The Honor 7X will be available in three variants – 32GB, 64GB as well as 128GB. In all the variants the internal storage can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card. The 7X comes with several options for connectivity like 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and GPS / GLONASS.
