Huawei has launched a limited-edition variant of its Honor 7X for the Indian consumer. The new red color variant will be available exclusively on Amazon India.
The Honor 7X was launched in the country in December last year. The budget smartphone went on sale exclusively on Amazon India at 12pm on December 7, prior to which the ecommerce giant offered over a thousand attractive prizes during the preregistration phase.
The Chinese smartphone maker had announced earlier that only 20,000 units of a limited-edition variant would be shipped across all international markets. Along with India, the red limited-edition variant is to be released in the US, the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Russia.
Huawei has not provided any details of when the sale of this limited-edition variant will begin. Amazon India offers a ‘Notify me’ option if one wishes to be notified when the limited edition becomes available. The online marketplace also mentions offers like 90GB free data on Airtel and up to ₹300 off on Kindle ebooks.
Honor 7X is available in two storage variants. The 32GB variant is listed at ₹12,999, while the 64GB variant is priced at ₹15,999. In both, the storage is expandable up to 256 GB via a microSD card.
The smartphone has a dual rear camera setup, with 16MP and 2MP sensors on the rear. The front camera is 8MP. Honor 7X packs in a 3340mAh battery and offers dual-SIM support and 4G access.
