Fitbit Ionic smartwatch, Flyer wireless headphones and Aria 2 Smart Scale gadgets in India.
US-based wearables company Fitbit has announced the launch of its Ionic smartwatch, Flyer wireless headphones and Aria 2 Smart Scale gadgets in India. All three devices would become available from February in retail chains across the country, including Reliance Digital, Croma, Helios and Fitbit’s Indian online partners.
The wearables company had launched Fitbit Alta HR in India in March 2017.
The Fitbit Ionic smartwatch is water resistant up to 50 meters, has a GPS tracker and offers features such as heart rate tracking and on-device dynamic workouts. It comes with Fitbit Pay for contactless payments as well as onboard music streaming and smart notifications. The device offers access to several apps and watch faces from Fitbit’s app gallery.
Apart from tracking steps, calories and floors climbed, Fitbit Ionic gives deeper insight into your health vitals, with its new SpO2 sensor that can predict the onset of sleep apnea. The Fitbit Coach companion app makes suggestions according to your readings.
Fitbit claims that its Ionic smartwatch has a battery life of up to 5 days on a single charge. The Ionic smartwatch has cross-platform compatibility.
The Fitbit Flyer wireless headphones allow passive noise isolation for a better audio experience. They have music and call controls, and are sweatproof. The company claims that the headphones can last for 6 hours on a single charge and supports quick charge. The Fitbit Flyer wireless headphones allow multi-device connectivity and can pair with the Ionic smartwatch.
The Fitbit Aria 2 Wi-Fi Smart Scale can measure body composition indicators, such as weight, lean mass, body fat percentage and BMI. The device can be connected via Bluetooth to your smartphone and the Fitbit Ionic smartwatch. Fitbit Aria 2 can simultaneously support eight users.
