Vivo V7 Launched, 18:9 FullView Display, 24-megapixel Front Camera

Vivo V7 with 18:9 fullview display and 24MP front camera launched

The V7 is a selfie-focused smartphone which weighs 139 grams and measures 149.3x72.8x7.9mm.

Vivo V7 has been launched in Indonesia at a price of IDR3,799,000 (~Rs.18,300). The smartphone is available in two colors, Gold and Matte Black, and can be purchased from several ecommerce retailers in Indonesia. The Chinese smartphone maker has announced plans to launch Vivo V7 in India on November 20. The V7 has a FullView display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 just like the V7+, which was launched in India in September and comes at a price of  Rs.21,990.


Specifications and Features

The V7 is a selfie-focused smartphone which weighs 139 grams and measures 149.3×72.8×7.9mm. This Nano dual-SIM device has no home button on the front and sports a rear fingerprint sensor which is located at the centre. The device runs on Funtouch OS 3.2, which is based on Android 7.1 Nougat and comes with a 3000mAh battery.

The V7 has a 5.7-inch HD+ IPS display with a resolution of 720×1440 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9 and is powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon SoC along with 4GB RAM. In all probability, the V7 will come with the Snapdragon 450 SoC just like the V7+.  Moreover, the device comes with 4GB RAM and an internal storage of 32GB which can be expanded up to 256GB through a microSD card.

The smartphone has a rear 16-megapixel camera with flash and an aperture size of f/2.0. Besides this, there is a front 24-megapixel camera which offers a soft moonlight glow selfie light and an aperture size of f/2.0. There are several options for connectivity like 4G VoLTE, Micro-USB, GPS/ A-GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.2 and FM radio. Sensors on board comprise an accelerometer, an ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, digital compass and virtual gyroscope.
