The new Vivo V9 has been launched in the Indian market. The smartphone was officially unveiled at an exclusive event in Thailand yesterday, revealing its features and specifications. The phone, which comes with an iPhone X-like notch, will soon be released in the Philippines next week.

Vivo V9 runs Android 8.1 Oreo and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 SoC. It offers 4GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, expandable up to 256GB via a microSD.
The latest phone from Vivo comes with a 6.3-inch full HD+ in-cell IPS FullView display, with resolution of 1080×2280 pixels with an aspect ratio of 19:9. It has narrow bezels of only 1.75mm.
The handset has a vertical dual rear camera setup, with 16MP primary sensor and 5MP secondary sensor. On the front, a 24MP selfie camera is present, loaded with AI Face Beauty technology. Apart from that, the Vivo V9 is equipped with AR stickers and Face Unlock.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.2, and Micro-USB with OTG data support. There is a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and the Karaoke mode enhances the music playback experience.
The device measures 154.81×75.03×7.89mm and weighs around 150g. The color options include Gold and Ceramic Black. The phone house a 3260mAh battery.
