Samsung has launched the 3GB RAM variant of the Galaxy J7 Nxt in India. The company had introduced the 2 GB model in July at a price of Rs.11,490. The new 3GB variant was listed on the Samsung Shop in India as Sold Out at a price tag of Rs.12,990.
Samsung had introduced the Galaxy J2 2017 Edition in India in October at a price of Rs.7,390.
Online product listings show only a black colour variant of Galaxy J7 Nxt. The 2GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage variant is listed at a discounted price of Rs.10, 490. These listings reveal that except for the increase in RAM, the specifications of the 3GB variant are identical to the original 2GB model. The official site also mentions that the 3GB variant sports new features like Samsung Pay Mini and AR (augmented reality) stickers.
Mahesh Telecom, an offline retailer, had tweeted regarding the launch of Galaxy J7 Nxt on December 21, 2017. The tweet mentions that the new phone is enabled by Samsung Pay Mini and will support AR stickers. According to this retailer the Galaxy J7 Nxt is available at offline stores across the country.
