The Reliance Jio Phone will be delivered towards the end of September

Since the Jio Phone has received an overwhelming amount of bookings, the pre bookings have been stopped momentarily.

News of the Reliance Jio Phone has created a stir ever since it was announced by the Chairman of Reliance Industries, Mukesh Ambani. This phone has been called the “effectively Re 0” JioPhone. After the launch of the phone was announced, the phone was kept open for pre-booking and testing in August. It was also expected that the delivery of the device was going to start by the beginning of September.

Since the Jio Phone has received an overwhelming amount of bookings, the pre bookings have been stopped momentarily. It is rumoured that up to three or four million bookings were made in the first round of bookings itself. This has also led to the delivery of the phones being delayed. A few retailers of Reliance Digital from Delhi NCR have said that the delivery could take place towards the end of September. They also said that the second round of pre-bookings could start during the upcoming week.

The JioPhone will be delivered on a first-come-first-serve basis where the people who have booked the phone first will receive it before the others. The people who have booked the phone in the first wave of bookings will receive it in the first round of sales while those who have booked the phone in the second wave of bookings will receive it in the second round of sales.

The second round of bookings has been confirmed by Reliance Jio, but the company has not given any official date as to when these bookings will take place. In order to book the Jio Phone online, users can head to Jio.com and MyJio App. They need to visit their closest retailer if they want to book the device offline. However, they first need to make sure if their retailer is selling the device as the JioPhone is being sold only at select locations.

If you are someone who has already booked the Jio Phone, you can check what the status of your order is by sending a message to 18008908900. However, you need to make sure that this message is sent through the mobile phone through which you have booked the Jio Phone.
