Oppo A75 and A75s Launched in Taiwan

A75 sports has 16-megapixel camera on the rear along with LED flash. There is a 20-megapixel camera on the front for clicking selfies and making video calls.


Oppo has expanded its portfolio by launching the A75 and A75s in Taiwan. Both the latest offerings from the Chinese smartphone maker, offer a bezel-less full screen display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. These phones come with similar mid-range specifications and are different only in terms of the inbuilt storage.

The Oppo A75 has been launched at a price tag of TWD 10,990 (approximately Rs.23,506), while the A75s is available at a price of TWD 11,990 (approximately Rs.24,850). Both the phones are available in two colour variants, Black and Champagne Gold. As of now, there is no news regarding their launch as well as availability in other regions.

Oppo launched the F5 Youth in India earlier this month. The Youth edition is a toned-down version of the Oppo F5 when it comes to RAM, in-built storage as well as cameras. This smartphone offers a 6-inch full-HD+ LTPS TFT display with an aspect ratio of 18:9.

 

Oppo A75 Runs on Android 7.1 Nougat

The dual-SIM A75 runs on Android 7.1 Nougat-based Color OS 3.2. It comes with a 6.0-inch full-HD + LCD display with a resolution of 1080×2160 pixels. The device is powered by a MediaTek Helio P23 MT6763T processor clocked at a speed of 2.5GHz along with 4GB RAM.

In the optics department, the A75 sports a 16-megapixel camera on the rear along with LED flash. There is a 20-megapixel camera on the front for clicking selfies and making video calls. The smartphone offers an inbuilt storage of 32GB which can be expanded up to 256GB via an expandable microSD card.

When it comes to connectivity, the device is enabled by Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, 4G, Micro-USB, GPS and OTG support. Sensors on board comprise an accelerometer, a proximity sensor and an ambient light sensor. The A75 comes with a fingerprint scanner located on the home button and supports Oppo’s AI facial recognition technology. The A75 measuring 156.5x76x7.5mm and weighing 152 grams is powered by a 3200mAh battery which supports fast charging.

 

Oppo A75s is Powered by MediaTek Helio P23 SoC

The A75s is also a dual-SIM smartphone which runs on Android 7.1 Nougat-based Color OS 3.2. The handset is powered by a MediaTek Helio P23 (MT6737T) SoC clocked at 2.5GHz along with 4GB RAM. The A75s offers a 6-inch full-HD + LCD display with a resolution of 1080×2160 pixels.

In terms of the imaging options, there is a 16-megapixel sensor on the rear with LED flash and a 20-megapixel front sensor for clicking selfies. The device offers an inbuilt storage of 64GB which can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card.

The A75s offers connectivity options such as Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, 4G, OTG, GPS, and Micro-USB. Sensors comprise an accelerometer, an ambient light sensor, and a proximity sensor. This phone also sports a fingerprint scanner on the home button and offers supports for the company’s AI facial recognition technology. The smartphone measures 156.5x76x7.5mm and weighs 152 grams and packs in a 3200mAh battery.
