The much-awaited Oppo A71 (2018) has finally been launched in India. The latest smartphone, the successor of Oppo A71, was launched in Pakistan earlier this month.
Oppo A71 (2018) is available on Flipkart in two color options – Gold and Black and is priced at ₹9,990. It will soon be available on Amazon and Snapdeal as well.
Oppo A71 (2018) comes with the AI (artificial intelligence) Beauty Recognition Technology. According to the company’s website, this technology is “based on a global image database that serves as an experienced photographer, who knows your beauty and will offer the most suitable beautify effect for you.”
The proprietary Bokeh effect is also available, which blurs the background on selfie shots.
Oppo A71 (2018) sports a 13MP camera on the rear with f/2.2 aperture and an LED flash. In the front, the device has a 5MP camera with f/2.4 aperture.

The latest device from Oppo comes with 3GB RAM, although the phone available in Pakistan has 2GB RAM. It has 16GB internal storage, expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card. The smartphone packs in a 3000mAh battery, which is claimed to deliver up to 15 hours of video playback and 19 hours of mixed usage on a single charge.
The dual-SIM device offers 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It measures 148.1×73.8×7.6mm and weighs 137 grams.
Oppo A71 (2018) comes with an accelerometer, ambient light, e-compass, and proximity sensor.
