OnePlus 5T Lava Red edition is the first ever red smartphone, that will certainly appeal to those looking for the perfect balance of beautiful design and powerful features.
One Plus 5T , launched on November 16 in New York, has now got a new look. The company has introduced a limited edition “Lava Red “colour variant of the phone in China. This option, which is only available for the 8GB ram and 128GB storage variant, is being priced at CNY 2,999 (approx. Rs.29,300).

The rest of the hi-end specs remain same, as its earlier “Midnight Black” version. The phone has a 6.01inch FHD+ optic, AMOLED display, along with a rear fingerprint sensor in place. At the core lies the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, along with Adreno 540 GPU, which powers both the 6GB and 8GB ram version of the phone. The device works on the Android 7.1.1 Nougat-based Oxygen OS and is powered by a 3,300mAh battery.
One of the most attractive features is the presence of a dual camera, both of which comes with an aperture of f/1.7. The front camera resolution is 16 megapixels, while the back camera offers a resolution of 20 megapixels. The front camera is also reportedly equipped with a face-unlock technology which employs almost 100 identifiers before it unlocks the device. The secondary camera is now capable of much higher performance in low light environments, unlike its predecessors with its large f/1.7 aperture.
One Plus 5T supports dual -sim, and also comes with a manual sim-ejector pin.
Look wise it adopts a slim bezel-less design, which is visually appealing. The Lava Red variant has a red colored back panel, while the front keeps the usual black paint. Its availability in Indian markets is still not confirmed. In India, OnePlus 5T met with unprecedented customer response, when it was sold out on Amazon India, within the first 5 minutes of its exclusive pre-sale launch on November 21. The new Lava Red color variant might just topple that.
