Nubia Z17 has a metal unibody and runs on Nubia UI 5.0 skin which is based on Android 7.1 Nougat.
The Nubia Z17 Lite has just been launched, soon after the launch of its predecessor the Nubia Z17 that took place in June. The device is filled with amazing features such as 6GB of RAM, DTS sound support, Quick Charge 3.0, a dual rear camera setup and Snapdragon 653 SoC.
The device has a metal unibody and runs on Nubia UI 5.0 skin which is based on Android 7.1 Nougat. It also has 6GB RAM of LPDDR3 and supports 4G network bands of China. The smart phone has a single SIM-card and is protected by Gorilla Glass. The display is a 5.5-inch Full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) TFT one which runs from edge to edge. The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 SoC of a 64-bit octa-core. Four of the Cortex-A72 cores clock at 1.95GHz while the other four cores of Cortex-A53 clock at 1.4GHz.
When it comes to the dual camera, one of the cameras is a colour sensor of Sony IMX258 while the other sensor is a black and white one of Sony IMX258. It has an aperture of f/2.2, PDAF hybrid phase focus and NeoVision 7.0 Custom Edition functionality of Nubia. The rear camera also has a lens of 5P which has Sapphire glass protection. The front camera is of 16-megapixels with an aperture of f/2.0 along with a wide angle 5P lens of 80 degrees.
The device has internal storage of 64GB which is not expandable. It also has a fingerprint scanner towards the rear end and supports Quick Charge 3.0 fast-charging technology. The battery is of 3200mAh and is non-removable. It has connectivity to Bluetooth v4.2 with BLE support, NFC, USB OTG and Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n/c). For improved audio playback, the smart phone also has DTS sound support. The smart phone measures 152.8 x 72.55 x 7.95 mm and has a weight of 169 grams.
The price of the device during its launch in China is approximately INR 24,700 and the device is going to be available from the 6th of September. The smart phone is going to be available in a number of colours ranging from black to blue to gold.
