The company has revealed that the Moto X4 would have a metal unibody, and available in Super Black and Sterling Blue as the colour variants.
Although it had been hoped that Motorola would announce the launch date for the Moto X4 at IFA 2017, given that the Lenovo-owned company had booked a booth at the venue in Berlin, Motorola finally revealed in a tweet that it would launch its latest smartphone in India on November 3. While the price of the phone in India was not revealed, it is priced at €399 in Europe, which means that it could be about ₹30,500 here.

While unveiling the Moto X4 at IFA 2017, the company had not revealed any details regarding its specifications, what we do know is that it will feature both Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant as its voice-based virtual assistants.
What We Expect from the Moto X4
The company has revealed that the Moto X4 would have a metal unibody, and available in Super Black and Sterling Blue as the colour variants. There would also be a fingerprint scanner beneath the home button on the front of the device.
The smartphone will run on the Android 7.1 Nougat out-of-the-box, with a 5.2-inch Full HD LTPS IPS display offering resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and pixel density of 424 PPI, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. The processor will be the 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 octa-core one, with RAM of 3GB.
Motorola also revealed that the battery, which is 3000mAh, will support rapid charging, while for connectivity options, there is Wi-Fi 802.11ac, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, 4G LTE, GLONASS, GPS, FM radio support, USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Measuring in at 148.35mm x 73.4mm x 7.99mm, the smartphone weighs in at 163 gm. With regard to the cameras, one is a 12MP, dual autofocus with aperture of f/2.0 and 1.4 micron pixels, while the second is an 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor with 120o field of view, aperture of f/2.2 and 1.12 micron pixels.
While the Moto X4 is available in some regions with 3GB RAM and internal storage of 32GB, while in others it is available with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, we will need to wait and see which variant Motorola launches in India.
