The company has also announced that its V30 2018 model will come with Vision AI, or artificial intelligence based technologies for camera and voice recognition.
The LG V30+ has been launched in India on December 13, 2017. A key highlight of this smartphone is its curved OLED or FullVision display. This smartphone comes with a big screen which fits, according to the company. V30+ sports very slim bezels with the display taking more than 80% of the screen space at the front. The display offers support for HDR10, which is being offered by only a few phones as of now.
Another highlight of this smartphone is that it is dust as well as water-resistant and comes with an IP68 certification. The handset is shock-resistant too as it has a MIL-STD-810G rating. Moreover, the device has a face unlocking feature and another feature for an Always-on display. The LG V30+ sports a new feature as well, viz., a Floating Bar in place of the secondary display seen on the previous V-Series phones. The smartphone will be available at a price of Rs.44,990 and will be sold exclusively on Amazon India from December 18. Pre-bookings will be open from December 14. Initially, two colour variants, Cloud Silver and Aurora Black, of the handset will be available. Other colour options of the V30+ will be available later in India. Launch offers from LG comprise a free one-time screen replacement worth Rs. 12,000, a free wireless charger which costs roughly Rs.3,000 as well as Rs.6,400 worth in-app purchases for the Beat Fever App. Buyers can avail of the latter two freebies till December 19.
The Nano dual-SIM LG V30+ runs on Android 7.1.2-based LG UX 6.0.
