InFocus has launched its latest A-series smartphone, the InFocus A2, in the Indian market. Priced at ₹5,199, the phone targets the entry-level smartphone segment in the country. What would have heads turning is that the device comes with 2GB RAM and also supports 4G VoLTE.
InFocus A2 follows the launch of InFocus Vision 3 in India, with a price tag of ₹6,999. It competes with Xiaomi Redmi 5A, which was launched in India in December last year and is available for just below ₹5,000.

InFocus A2 is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC9832 processor and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with 360 UI. The company has not revealed if an Android Oreo update will be available in the future.
The latest device comes with a 5MP primary camera at the rear, with autofocus and LED flash. The front camera is also 5MP. InFocus A2 has 2GM RAM and 16GB internal storage, expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card. It houses a 2400mAh battery.
Connectivity options include a dual-SIM card slot, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, FM radio, GPS, Micro-USB port and 3.5mm headphone jack.
The dimensions of the phone are 143.9×71.7×8.9mm and it is available in two colour options – Black and Champagne Gold.
