The HTC U11+ has a 6-inch Quad HD+ Super LCD display, with resolution of 1440x2880 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The screen has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protection.


HTC U11+ has been launched in India and is available exclusively on Flipkart, starting today. The Taiwanese company had unveiled this model, its first smartphone to sport an edge-to-edge display, in November last year.

 

HTC U11+: Specifications

The HTC U11+ has a 6-inch Quad HD+ Super LCD display, with resolution of 1440×2880 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The screen has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protection. The smartphone runs Android 8.0 Oreo and has the HTC Sense UI running on top.

The device is powered by a 2.45GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. There are two variants, one with 4GB RAM and internal storage of 64GB and the other with 6GB RAM and internal storage of 128GB. The memory of both variants is expandable up to 2TB via a microSD card.

The HTC U11+ sports a 12MP UltraPixel camera at the back, with autofocus, a f/1.7 aperture and dual LED flash. The front camera is 8MP, with BSI sensor and a f/2.0 aperture. The device offers 4K video recording.

The latest HTC smartphone packs in a 3930mAh battery and comes with QuickCharge 3.0 support. For connectivity, the device has USB Type-C 3.1, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, NFC, DLNA, and Miracast.

The HTC U11+ has an IP68 certification, which means it is water and dust resistant. It has a fingerprint scanner on the rear. The handset measures 158.5×74.9×8.5mm and weighs 188 grams.

The latest smartphone from HTC will come with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. These can be integrated with Edge Sense. It will also have HTC Sense Companion.

 

HTC U11+: Price

HTC U11+ is priced at ₹56,990. It will be available in Amazing Silver, although a Ceramic Black color variant is scheduled to be available soon. At this price-point, the smartphone will compete with Apple iPhone 8, Google Pixel 2XL and Samsung Galaxy S8.
