Google's Pixel 2 will be available in three colour variants – Black, White and Blue, while the Pixel 2 XL is being offered in two versions – Black and Black and White.
Pre-bookings of Google’s Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL, which were launched globally in San Francisco on October 4, 2017, have begun in India. Online purchases can be made via Flipkart. Both the smartphones will be available through 1,000 offline stores across the country. The Pixel 2 will be delivered starting November 1, 2017, whereas deliveries for Pixel 2 XL will commence on November 15, 2017.

As for the Pixel 2 XL, the 64GB variant costs ₹73,000 and the 128GB storage option is available at a price of ₹82,000.
Exclusive Pre-Order Offers
Flipkart has announced several exclusive pre-order offers for buyers purchasing via their platform. The e-commerce giant is offering ₹8,000 cashback on HDFC Bank credit card EMI transactions and a free Sennheiser CX 7.00BT In-Ear Wireless headset worth ₹11,990. Flipkart is also offering 50% buyback guarantee for Pixel and Pixel XL owners who want to upgrade to the Pixel 2 or Pixel 2 XL. Besides this, buyers will get an extra ₹5,000 off on the exchange of select smartphone models, and no cost EMI starting at ₹3,389 a month. Plus, five chosen winners of the social media contest on Facebook, which ends on October, 31, 2017, will be given the Google Daydream View 2 headset by Flipkart.
Google is also tying up with telecom operators like Airtel and Reliance Jio to offer data benefits on pre-ordering of its smartphones. Airtel subscribers can avail of 120GB of additional data for six months, whereas Reliance Jio customers will get an overall benefit of ₹14,999, which includes one year of unlimited voice, 750GB of data, Jio apps and SMS worth ₹9,999. Moreover, they can avail of the ₹5,000 in additional exchange bonus at Reliance Digital stores.
Buyers choosing the offline pre-order option at Reliance Digital and Croma retail outlets before October 31, 2017, will get a Sennheiser headset, ₹8,000 cashback on EMI transactions with HDFC Bank cards, no-cost EMI starting at ₹3,389 per month and 120GB additional Airtel data for a period of six months.
As far as some of the specifications go, the design of the new Pixel 2 is more or less similar to its predecessor, whereas the Pixel 2 XL has a more trendy look. Both phones incorporate some changes in software and hardware with the help of AI. The Pixel 2 has a 5-inch Cinematic 127-mm full-HD display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, while the Pixel 2 XL features a 6-inch QHD+ P-OLED with 2880 x 1440 pixel resolution. Both handsets have 3D Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC and 4GB of RAM.
Both the phones sport a 12.2-megapixel rear camera with f/1.8 aperture. The front facing 8-megapixel camera has an aperture of f/2.4. Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL also have USB Type-C connectivity, dual-frontal speakers and a new Android launcher.
