Gionee has launched its M7 Power in India, after having first unveiled it in China in September, along with the Gionee M7.

The M7 Power is Gionee’s first bezel-less handset in India. It will be available in Gold, Black and Blue colours, at a price of Rs.16,999. Pre-orders of the smartphone will commence on November 25 on Amazon India. On pre-booking the M7 Power, users can avail a free onetime replacement of their screens. This offer is valid for a duration of six months. Buyers will also get up to 100GB free data from Reliance Jio with an additional 10GB for 10 recharges of Rs.309 or more up to September 2018. Moreover, there is an additional discount of Rs.3,000 on exchange as well as no-cost EMIs.

The Chinese company has also tied up with Paytm. “Every purchase of Gionee M7 Power will come with 2 Paytm Cashback Voucher Codes entitling customers with Rs. 250 cashback on a base buy of Rs. 350 from Paytm Mall,” the company said.

Comes with A Huge 5000mAh Battery

The dual-SIM device runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat with Gionee’s Amigo 5.0 on top. It has a 6-inch FullView IPS display with resolution of 720×1440 pixels, along with an 18:9 aspect ratio and comes with Gorilla Glass 3 on top for protection. The device is powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core Snapdragon 435 SoC along with 4GB RAM. Moreover, it comes with a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel.

As the name suggests Gionee M7 Power’s key highlight is its huge 5000mAh battery, which can provide a talk time of approximately 56 hours as well as a standby time of 625 hours. Also, the battery can last for nearly two days on a single charge and supports fast charging, claims Gionee. The smartphone has an internal storage capacity of 64GB which can be expanded up to 256GB via microSD card in a hybrid dual-SIM configuration. Also, the weight of the device is 199 grams whereas it measures 156.35×76.65×8.6mm.

The M7 Power is a great addition to the bouquet of smartphones from Gionee, after the A1, which runs on Android 7.0 with Amigo 4.0 and houses a 4010mAh non-removable battery.

The Gionee M7 Power’s camera setup is quite simple as it has a rear 13-megapixel autofocus camera with an aperture size of f/2.0 and a LED flash whereas the front 8-megapixel camera with fixed focus has an f/2.2 aperture. However, the smartphone is capable of capturing 3D Photos. It can come up with a three-dimensional picture of any object.

The Gionee M7 Power has several connectivity options like the 4G VoLTE, Micro-USB, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, FM radio, a 3.5mm headphone jack and GPS/ A-GPS. Another feature being touted by the company is the App Clone, which allows you to use three WhatsApp instances simultaneously.
