The COMIO C1 is available in two colours, Mellow Gold and Space Black. The C2 comes in shades of Blue and Black and S1 comes in two colours, Sunrise Gold and Royal Black.
COMIO India has launched three budget smartphones in the price range of between Rs.6,000 and Rs.9,000. The COMIO C1 costs Rs.5,999 and is available in two colours, Mellow Gold and Space Black. The C2 comes in shades of Blue and Black and costs Rs.7,199; whereas S1 costs Rs.8,999 and comes in two colours, Sunrise Gold and Royal Black.
All the three devices can be purchased from major retail outlets in West and North India as well as across several online platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, Snapdeal, Paytm and ShopClues. Moreover, the company has tied up with Reliance Jio to offer additional data to buyers.
Commenting on the launch, Sanjay Kumar Kalirona, CEO and Director, COMIO India, said, “Within a short time span since our national launch, we have come back to our consumers with ‘Made in India’ smartphones. This is in-line with our long-term vision for the Indian market and a step closer in achieving our goal of becoming leaders in the mid-segment smartphone category.”
The C1 has a 5-inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels. The handset comes with 1GB RAM and an internal storage of 32GB which can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. Moreover, the device has an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera for clicking selfies.
The COMIO C2 comes with a scratch-resistant back cover and a 5-inch HD IPS Display. It offers 2GB RAM and an internal storage of 16GB which can be expanded up to 128GB with the help of a microSD card. The rear 8-megapixel autofocus camera comes with LED flash. The front-facing 8-megapixel selfie camera also has LED flash.
As for the S1, it comes with a metal unibody consisting of curved edges. This smartphone has a 5.2-inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels, a fingerprint sensor on the front and a 2700mAh battery. The device offers 2GB RAM and an internal storage of 32GB which can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. The phone also has a 13-megapixel autofocus camera on the rear with LED flash and a front-facing 8-megapixel selfie camera.
The COMIO C1, C2 and S1 run on the company’s user interface or UI, which is based on Android 7.1 Nougat, are powered by a quad-core 64 bit Mediatek processor and supported by 4G VoLTE. All the three devices come with a preloaded Anti-theft feature. With this feature it is possible to share SIM-based alerts with your registered mobile number whenever there is any dubious activity. Another interesting feature of the device is that when anyone tries to unlock the phone by attempting to break the PIN or pattern, the handset automatically clicks an image of the intruder or the unauthorized person. Besides this, the device has several other options like the lock as well as unlock feature, data backup, SIM-related functions and a shutdown blocker.
