Huawei has extended its range of wearable fitness devices by launching Huawei Fit, Huawei Band 2 and Band 2 Pro in India.
Huawei has extended its range of wearable fitness devices by launching Huawei Fit, Huawei Band 2 and Band 2 Pro in India. All the devices can be purchased from various retail outlets as well as major online portals. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer’s fitness band, the Huawei Fit, costs Rs.9,999 and is available in three colours, Black, Orange and Blue. The heartrate monitor in the band allows the user to keep track of steps as well as monitor sleep. It also provides support for activities like running, treadmill, cycling and swimming.
Huawei Fit comes with a 1.04-inch Memory LCD display with a resolution of 208×208 pixels. This scratch-resistant display has a coating of Corning Gorilla 3 glass on top for protection. The smartwatch’s 80mAh battery is capable of delivering approximately six days of backup power along with a standby period of 30 days.
he device is compatible with Android and iOS and provides call notifications, messages and reminders when connected to a smartphone. The band also comes with an IP68 rating which makes it dustproof and waterproof.
In late October, Huawei had unveiled its latest flagship models, Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro, at an event in Munich, Germany, announcing that the phones would be available in 15 countries by November 2017.
The other two fitness trackers, the Huawei Band 2 and the Band 2 Pro are priced at Rs.4,999 and Rs.6,999, respectively. Both the trackers offer All-day monitoring of heart rate. Moreover, these devices sport a PMOLED display and are also compatible with phones running Android version 4.4 onwards and devices running iOS 8.0 and above.
There is a Breathing Coach feature in Huawei Band 2 and Band 2 Pro which offers instructions on breathing for a relaxing effect. The Band 2 also has the VO2 Max technology, which measures the level of oxygen a user inhales. As for the Band 2 Pro, it comes with a built-in GPS, a Sports Coach feature as well as Huawei’s TruSleep virtual sleep hygiene tracker. All the three fitness devices from Huawei come with 5ATM water-resistant build, which protects them for approximately 50m in water.
