The Orion 9000 desktop has been priced at Rs.3,19,999 and is available at Croma stores and all the company exclusive outlets.
Acer recently launched its Predator Orion 9000 gaming desktop in India, after releasing the product at IFA 2017 in Berlin. It is the country’s first gaming desktop that houses the Intel Core i9 Extreme processor and Optane memory. The company had launched its Swift 5 Ultra-Thin and Lightweight laptops in the country, just a week back.
The Orion 9000 has been priced at Rs.3,19,999 and is available at Croma stores and all the company exclusive outlets.
The desktop comes with the Intel Core i9 Extreme Edition 18-core processor and up to 128GB quad-channel DDR4 memory. The exterior build of the computer is a spacecraft-like black and white design, with RGB lighting along the sides of the front bezel.
The desktop has up to two Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080Ti graphics cards and has a 2TB hard disk. The Acer IceTunnel 2.0 keeps the temperature of the desktop controlled at the minimum, with its liquid cooling technology. The technology is built along an airflow management solution, separating the interior into tunnel zones, each having individual airflow tunnels to expel the heat. The front and top of the desktop has huge metal mesh panels to pull in cold air from the outside and expel the hot air from the liquid-cooled CPU. To channel the cool air inside, there are five 120mm fans installed in the front, top and rear.
Connectivity options include two USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports, eight USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports and two USB 2.0 ports. There are 3 M.2 slots and four PCIex16 slots for video cards.
Orion 9000 has been designed specifically for demanding professional gamers in the country. With this product, the company adds yet another name in its portfolio of gaming PCs in India.
